One month and one day

One month and one day

Zach’s bachelor party was this weekend. He survived, so I’d consider it a success. The boys took him to a dirty beach house in Galveston for the weekend. I don’t know many details, but I think they had a pretty good time. So Z is finally ready to settle down now that he’s sewn his wild oats.

I’ve been working a lot. Some weekends I get to take Zach with me, which is great. He and Leia came with my the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Nacogdoches on Oct. 15. They were assigned the task of being cute and taking pictures with the participants.

It took the pup some time to warm up to people.

But eventually she just got distracted by light.

Clearly they excelled at the tasks they were assigned.

Warming up.

And striking a pose.

Anyway, tomorrow is the one-month-til-the-wedding mark. Zach and I still have so much to do. I had a mini panic attack today about wedding finances, but Zach stepped in and calmed me down. We’re always balancing each other out like that. When I think something is complicated and difficult to overcome, he steps in and untangles things. And I think I do the same for him.
